STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 / year


THE ROLE

We are looking for one person to take full ownership of the financial and administrative back end of our business.


This is a hands-on, sole-charge position working directly with leadership and our external CPA firm. There is no team to delegate to and no plans to build a finance department. If you want to manage staff, this isn't the role for you. If you enjoy owning the numbers end-to-end and doing the work yourself, it is.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: AP, AR, daily trial balance, rolling close, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Inventory & Cost Accounting: Track raw materials, WIP, finished goods, purchase orders, receiving, and COGS for physical products built from purchased components.
  • Month-End & Revenue: Manage customer deposits, deferred revenue, bank recs, journal entries, and month-end close.
  • Operations: Process payroll, handle stock ordering, and manage vendor/customer relations.


WHAT WE NEED

  • 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (sole-charge experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven technical mastery of inventory/cost accounting, customer deposits, deferred revenue, and month-end close.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and modern accounting software.
  • Tech-Comfortable: Genuinely comfortable using AI tools and software automation to stay efficient.
  • Background: Manufacturing or distribution background preferred; conversational Spanish is a plus.
